Bactocount IBC 3.0

The unique, scalable multiplex platform for fast, thorough bacteria count in raw milk

Bactaria count - Microval
The BactoCount IBC 3.0 has been validated to be at least equivalent to the EN-ISO 4833-1:2013 and ISO 13366-1:2008 reference methods for the enumeration of microorganisms and somatic cells in 2 minutes for raw cow milk – certificate no.: 2021LR97
Bactaria count - BactoCount IBC

The ultimate tool for optimal bacteria count determination

The BactoCount IBC 3.0 is a fully automatic instrument that implements flow cytometry for the fast, accurate and extremely reliable enumeration of bacteria count and somatic cells in raw milk.

This new revolutionary and evolutionary platform allows to meet current and anticipate future laboratories requirements for an optimal determination and valorization of milk hygienic quality.

The new BactoCount IBC 3.0 offers multiplexed applications thanks to its unique dedicated platform. This third generation can be equipped with an optional second laser (16 wavelengths available) and four detectors (for fluorescence and scattering signals). Up to three applications can be run simultaneously on a given sample.

The overall design of the instrument has also been thought out for easy access and maintenance. With this in mind, the IBC 3.0 version incorporates a new self-aligned magnetic cell block system.
